Flew to Santiago, Chile via a 2 hr stop in BA.
Arrived to our very fancy Atton El Bosque hotel well after midnight.
A late start saw us go out into Santiago around noon for a walk along a river edge then into an 8 level shopping complex for a late lunch.
Venturing into the traun system we made our way to Plaza de Armas to find the square a centre of religious activities adjoining the catholic cathedral. Next to visit 2 excellent museums and then backnon the train. A very nice dinner at our hotel then bed and final blogging.
Today (Mon 8th) we are onto a half day bus tour of Santiago then other activities before a late departure after midnight for home via Auckland.
