Today we left Torres del Paine, seeing herds of Guanacos, Rias and a few fantastic soaring Condors on the way. We stopped at an excellent souvenir shop next to the Chilean border and purchased a few things. Had a lunch break at Esperanza roadhouse before finishing pur day back at El Calafate at our original hotel with swerping views of the lake. Walked to town for chocolate and coffee... yum! Dinner in the hotel was excellent.
Jenny and Peter's travels to Antarctica and Patagonia take us on an adventure with Aurora Expeditions from Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, down the Antarctic Peninsula and back in 12 days over Christmas 2017 then we are off for 10 days of hiking, boating and travelling around the Argentinean and Chilean parts of Patagonia in South America.
